The Extras section includes additional settings that help optimize your store’s UI behavior and display.
1. Countdown timezone
Choose the timezone used for Countdown.
Shop time zone: Uses your Shopify store timezone.
Users local time zone: Uses each visitor’s device/browser timezone.
2. Sticky bar
Description: Controls sticky elements that remain accessible while customers scroll through the page.
Options:
Color scheme: Selects the color scheme used for the sticky bar and its related elements.
Back to top button (On/Off)
On: Displays a floating button that lets customers quickly scroll back to the top of the page.
Off: Hides the button.
Show with active sticky elements (On/Off)
On: Allows the Back to top button to remain visible when another sticky element, such as sticky navigation or Sticky add to cart, is active.
Off: The button is hidden while another sticky element is active.
Scrollspy navigation (On/Off)
On: Displays sticky navigation that helps customers move between sections of the page while scrolling.
Off: Disables the sticky navigation.

Sticky add to cart (On/Off)
On: Displays a sticky Add to cart bar while customers scroll on product pages, making the purchase action easier to access.
Off: Disables the sticky Add to cart bar.
Note:
Sticky add to cart is available on product pages only.
Sticky elements may appear only after customers scroll to a certain position on the page.
3. Customer accounts log in
Description: Controls how customer account information is displayed after customers log in.
Options:
Show avatar (On/Off)
On: Displays the customer avatar/account icon when logged in (placement depends on the theme).
Off: Hides the avatar and shows the default account icon/link only.
Note:
Avatar behavior depends on Shopify’s customer account type and how the theme renders it.
4. Inactive tab message
Description: Helps reduce cart abandonment by changing the browser tab title when visitors switch to another tab.
Options:
Use inactive tab message (On/Off)
On: When visitors leave the store tab, the tab title changes to a reminder message (may include emojis if supported).
Off: The tab title remains unchanged.
Important note:
This feature can’t be previewed in the Theme Editor. To test it:
Open the live store or a preview outside the editor.
Switch to another browser tab and check whether the tab title changes.
